How it works
Daily news and bids
Every day the site reads TxDOT's Project Information open dataset and records each contract on the statewide letting (contract number, county, work type and project count). New lettings become data briefs automatically. ESBD postings, legislation and agency rule changes are tracked by the editors, and original stories are written from at least two sources.
